What are the dates of RoboCup?

• June 30 - Participants may check into on campus housing.
• July 1 (noon) – July 8 – RoboCup Competition Open to Senior Participants
• July 2 - July 6 – RoboCupJunior Competition Open to Junior Participants
• July 3 – July 8 – RoboCup Competition Open to Spectators
• July 8 – July 10 – RoboCup Symposium - RoboCup Symposium attendees are invited to a reception on the evening of July 8th.

What are the fees?

Our registration process requires that the team and each individual must register. So for example, a robot team with one faculty member and two students would register as follows:

Team Registration: $550
Faculty Registration: $407
2 x Student Registration: $242 + $242
Total: $1441

We also offer low-cost housing and meal plans for additional cost. Housing is available at $35 to $50 per night, and meals at about $25 per day.

What is the refund policy?

Must I register both for the competition and the symposium?

Symposium registration is included in registration for the competition. If you don't register for the competition and you want to attend the symposium, you should register for the symposium.

Are RoboCup fees higher this year?

Yes, but we are offering inexpensive housing and meal plans on the Georgia Tech campus to offset the higher registration fees. Overall costs for most teams should actually be lower than last year.

Why PayPal?

PayPal was selected because they offer the most comprehensive set of payment options internationally, including credit cards and bank transfers from most banks and countries.

Do I need a PayPal account?

It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to pay for registration using credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express). Bank transfers, however, require a PayPal account.

I can't pay using PayPal. What should I do?

Please make sure. We are able to accept most credit cards and wire transfers from most countries via PayPal, and we've invested a lot to make this a smooth process. If you really can't use PayPal, we can issue an invoice and accept a wire transfer for payment. There is a 5% fee for this service. Follow these instructions .

Why is there a shipping and handling charge?

There is a 3% shipping and handling charge added to all orders to help cover the costs of offering online registration.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds for cancellation can be provided up to 30 days after payment until May 30, 2007. No refunds after May 30, 2007.

Are spectator tickets transferable?

Yes.
